About Me

My name is Benjamin Reidys. I am a 3rd year Ph.D. student at the Computer Science Department of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, working with Professor Jian Huang as a member of the Systems Platform Research Group.
Before starting my Ph.D., I studied Computer Science and Mathematics at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA, USA.
Primarily, my research uses techniques from Operating Systems, Networking, and some Machine Learning to improve the performance and usability of Memory and Storage Systems. Currently, I am focused on improving the data center scale storage systems through network/storage codesign. You can find my full CV here.
